About Us

Dr. Greg Smith is the founder and President of InStep, an Atlanta-based, faith based non-profit organization with strategic global international influence. InStep's network includes partners worldwide with reach to over 100 nations that impact more than one billion people. In collaboration with national leaders and churches, InStep creates models of entrepreneurial ministries, church multiplication initiatives, and leadership development that link resources to make a distinct difference in people's lives. Dr. Smith brings 20 years of pastoral experience and 20 years of non-profit experience to effectively oversee the organization, network and global relationships.

Education and Experience

Dr. Smith is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary, and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Doctorate of Ministry degree in strategic planning and ethnic ministries. Greg serves on various boards and partners with strategic global ministries:

Business Community Involvement

With an equal passion for the business community, since 1998, Dr. Smith has served as the Corporate Chaplain and Relationship Coach for Hotel Equities where he visits properties, oversees a 24-hour Prayer Team, hosts weekly Life Lessons Over Lunch, engages in community service projects, prepares weekly devotionals, and is available to the associates for culture training and crisis management.

Legal and Accounting Advisors

• Larry S King (Auditor/Accounting): A CPA with more than 40 years of experience in public accounting, corporate finance, and nonprofit experience. Larry oversees the financial accountability and prepares the annual audit for the InStep Board of Directors.
• Steve Kyle (Legal): As InStep's corporate attorney, Steve gives direct oversight to all legal matters and corporate law. He is a founding partner with Bovis, Kyle, & Burch in Dunwoody, GA.
• Whitney Delaney (Bookkeeping): An accredited Tax and Wealth Management expert, Whitney and Team prepare the monthly and annual (GAAP standards) financial statements and general ledger for InStep. She coordinates with L.S. King and Associates in the annual review process and financial audit for InStep.
